Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul are several of the names given to this wonderful city and the only one in the world situated on two continents – Europe and Asia. Istanbul has passed through many historical and natural challenges, but despite it all, has not lost even a bit of its charm. It is a majestic city, offering historical challenges and secrets, cultural diversity, a mosaic of culinary delicacies, traditions and hospitality, and anything else you can dream of. This is my most photographed city and each time I visit, I simply can’t walk around without taking “another and another” picture. The morning silence, daytime rush, evening sunsets and nighttime lights each present this city in different way. The outlines of minarets at sunset is something you have to experience, especially looking at it from the Anatolian side.
